Every Friday at EAC, something simple yet deeply meaningful happens. The women gather in a circle, a pot of fresh coffee brewing, popcorn passed around, and the week finally slows down. It has become much more than a weekly ritual.
It is a safe space.
A moment to breathe.
A moment to be seen.
A moment to be understood.
Here, the mothers share their stories — the challenges they’ve overcome, the wins they are proud of, and the quiet struggles they carry. They laugh, they encourage one another, they advise each other, and sometimes, they simply sit in the comfort of being surrounded by women who understand their journey.
These gatherings have had a powerful effect on their wellbeing.
They help:
-
reduce stress and emotional fatigue
-
build confidence and connection
-
strengthen trust between the mothers
-
foster a healthier, more supportive learning environment
Most beautifully, this weekly tradition remind us that support doesn’t only flow from EAC to the women — the women also support each other. They celebrate each other’s progress, help with challenges at home, and stand together like a growing family.
When the relationships among the mothers grow stronger, their work improves too. Their teamwork becomes smoother. Their learning rises. Their confidence spreads. And ultimately, the outcomes of the entire program grow richer.
Week after week, they are transforming hearts, strengthening community, and building resilience from the inside out.
