Turning Hands-On Training into Household Income
In one of the rooms of the center, the warm smell of roasting spices fills the air. This is where Meron, an experienced spice producer, trains a group of determined mothers in the art — and business — of local spice production.
The mothers learn every step of the process:
cleaning → drying → grinding → blending → sieving → packaging

Each woman practices with real equipment — grinders, sealers, scales — building confidence one batch at a time.
What makes this truly powerful is what comes next.
EAC plans to help the mothers bring their products into the market — a step toward becoming a self-funding nonprofit where empowerment fuels sustainability. The spices made by these women won’t just season meals… they’ll support their households, their dignity, and their future.
Follow us as we take these women’s products from the training room to the marketplace.
