At EAC, our work has always been shaped by listening — truly listening — to the mothers and caregivers who show up every day carrying both love and heavy responsibility. Over time, we kept meeting single mothers raising children with disabilities who desperately wanted to work, to learn a skill, to build independence… but had no one to look after their children while they did so.

The question that kept echoing in our hearts was simple:
“Who takes care of the caregiver?”

From that question, a quiet but powerful idea emerged — a place where mothers could learn, grow, and earn an income while their children received proper care, nutrition, and stimulation. Not a temporary program, but a long-term solution. Not charity, but empowerment.

And so, the vision for EAC’s vocational and childcare center was born:
A center where hope becomes a skill, and a skill becomes a livelihood.

Inside our childcare room — painted with bright colors, foam mats, books, sensory toys, mattresses, and learning materials — children finally had a space made just for them. A space that is safe. Stimulating. Loving. A space where they can simply be children.

While the children learn and play, their mothers train freely, without fear or worry. For many, this is the first time they have been able to focus on themselves — not because they are neglecting their children, but because their children are finally receiving the care they deserve.
