About Us

Our Mission

Emmanuel Disability Center is a nonprofit organization that aims to enable and empower people with physical disabilities to enjoy their day to day lives as well as getting access to education and employment opportunities.

Our Vision

We are aiming to give quality service for the physically disabled community. We are aiming to reach people with disabilities not only in Ethiopia but all over the world.

A few words from our founder

“My name is Zenash. I lived in Canada for over 22 years. Currently, I am living in Ethiopia with my son, Emmanuel, who has epilepsy and uses a wheelchair when his seizures are severe. On February 2018 we headed to Ethiopia for the health of my son. In my prayers I asked God to put in my heart something to do for my people. To make a long story short, I thank God for the opportunity he has granted me. Today Emmanuel Ability Center is at work helping handicapped people in Ethiopia with aiding materials and more.”
