Our Work
We give service to one of the most underserved communities in the world. Physically disabled people make up about 15% of the world’s population, with more prevalence in developing countries. Our goal is to relieve their burdens so that they can lead healthy and independent lives.
Currently, our focus is on providing equipment to those in need. We first assess the type of equipment that would help the most and then supply it, whether it be wheelchairs, crunches, commodes, or more, to people with financial constraints. We give access to physiotherapy as well.
Emmanuel Disability Center has signed a Memorandum of Undersntanding with CURE International Inc. CURE assists us in giving our beneficiaries access to quality equipment, physiotherapy, and provides technical support until Emmanuel establishes its own workshop. By working with CURE, our beneficiaries can get the proper medical care.
